- Why laws are made in society, eg laws to deal with discrimination such as racism and sexism?
- Describe some ways in which society deals with and punishes crime, eg community service, fines.
- Suggest some of the rights and responsibilities of a citizen in a democracy.
- Describe simply how representatives are chosen and types of work they do, eg local councillors, British and European MP’s.
- Describe the ways the media can influence personal decision making.
