Please check out this site in Family Learning. A brilliant site for children and adults to use as a learning tool. There are loads of online numeracy games: Including addition, subtraction, money etc. It is a UK site so will be relevent to your child's needs.

The Idea - The idea behind the site is to offer mathematics as well as some fun bits, and to combine the two wherever possible. General - The main content of the site is aimed at basic math skills. However you will find some more complex stuff, and some easier bits. Hopefully there should be something for everybody.

Hey Renee!
Inspired to do a bit of searching, after completing your Questionnaire, I asked myself, "Wonder what else I'm missing on there?" Just found all sorts of stuff on Wetpaint and AL sites - some super free downloads for Art and knitting etc. I've only ever looked for work related stuff, in the past. So this is what folk can do when they're not rushing to catch a No 13 or No 1 bus, or tearing about like a demented idiot! Having a bit of time for me has been a wonderful thing! Consequently, I'll be that much more useful in helping others.... Thanks for the inspiration!

Welcome to the celebrations of 500 years of Scottish print culture.
Friday 4 April 2008 was the 500th anniversary of the printing of The Complaint of the Black Knight by Chepman and Myllar in Edinburgh. It was marked by the unveiling of a commemorative plaque.
In September 1507 King James IV granted a patent to Androw Myllar and Walter Chepman authorising them to set up a printing press in Edinburgh. The earliest known dated output from their press ('The Complaint of the Black Knight') is dated 4th April 1508.

I think this Skillwise site is absolutely brillant. I am a adult learner on Maths and English and i found this site very helpful. I would reccomend this Skillwise site to anyone who is learning. There is so much information on this Skillwise site to help children and adults.
I rate this Skillwise site 10/10. Brillant.

I think this website is absolutely fab!-well presented, well planned, easy to follow, and extremely interesting!! There is so much information available, which has been thoughtfully researched and presented in meaningful sizes-my only concern was...where to begin!! But being overwhelmed with this kind of site/sight automatically fires your enthusiasm...or at least ...it does with me. May all enjoy! Tracey

I am still getting the hang of getting in here. However I will try harder.
I have down loaded work sheets to keep as a resource of easy accessible ones in my briefcase to take when I move about which find useful as I can just photocopy when I get there.
